Indicator Number Two – PAR-Q & Continual Assessments
A personal trainer who is willing to take the time to perform baseline assessments (PARQ) and write out a plan of how you-re going to achieve your goals will go a long way. The trainer would have the client undertake an assessment to see where their fitness levels are at to begin with then continually do check-ins throughout your time with them. This allows the personal trainer to tweak anything that may or may not be working in the plan they-ve given you and to keep yourself as client focused on the end goal.
